There are places that are not built. They are cultivated. Corte degli Angeli is one of those places. A corner of Maremma that was not born by chance, but by choice. A life choice, before a work choice. Here everything has a slower, more human pace.
Here you can breathe that good air that smells of cut grass, of wood burning slowly… We didn’t want to create a farmhouse to “welcome customers”. We wanted to open our home to those who feel the need to slow down, to feel their feet on the ground again, the taste of real things, the value of what you can’t buy.
The earth teaches us everything
Every day we learn to listen to it. We respect it, we nourish it, we work with it with our hands and with our heart. We grow organically, without forcing, without shortcuts.
She dictates the times, and we follow. For this reason, our products have a sincere flavour. Like those who collect them.
We cook with simplicity, not for fashion
Ours is home cooking, the kind you can’t find in restaurants.
It is made of dishes that are poor and rich at the same time. Of pici, acquacotta, tomato soup, garden vegetables transformed into colorful and generous appetizers.
We make pasta by hand, every day, and serve what there is, what the season offers us.
Because beauty lies right there: in not having to choose, but in letting yourself be surprised.
Sharing is part of living
Here we share spaces, meals, stories. But above all we share an idea: that beauty lies in simple things.
We like to see guests who feel at home, who exchange recipes, who laugh in front of the fireplace, who help us pick a ripe fruit.
