- You don’t need to provide the wiring yourself. However, it’s a good idea to install a conduit to the location where the charging station will be placed.
- If you decide to install the wiring yourself, please consider the following:
- Always install a three-phase cable of at least 6 mm² (5G6) thickness. For lengths greater than 70 meters, we recommend using 10 mm² (5G10).
- Most of our charging stations can deliver 3-phase 22 kW. Therefore, we recommend laying future-proof wiring. Typically, we install a 5 x 6 mm² (5G6) YMVK (AS) cable or thicker if necessary.
- Also, run a Cat. 5 UTP cable to the charging station.
- Ensure that the power cable starts from the main distribution board and goes to the location of the charging station. Leave an extra meter on each side for the connection.
