My charger is not connected to a WiFi network.

When installing and configuring an Easee Home or Easee Charge charger, the installer has the option to connect the charger to a WiFi network if available. If there’s no WiFi, the charger connects to the available mobile phone network.

If you have access to the charger through the Easee App or Easee Portal, connecting to WiFi is straightforward. You must be a Site owner to set up the WiFi network.

For a site with multiple chargers, only the master charger needs to connect to a WiFi network. The WiFi settings will then be transferred to the secondary chargers on the site during site configuration.

Using the Easee App:

  1. Select the Charger card of the charger you want to connect to WiFi.
  2. Go to Charger settings.
  3. Navigate to WiFi connection.
  4. Select the WiFi network you want to connect the charger to.

On the Easee Portal:

  1. Go to Products and select the charger you want to connect to WiFi.
  2. Under WiFi, select Edit to manually enter the WiFi network or choose Quick Scan or Extensive scan to search for nearby WiFi networks.
  3. Enter the WiFi password and proceed.

👆For a site with multiple chargers, you can do this using Batch operations.

Installation Menu:

If you don’t have access to the charger through the Easee App or Easee Portal because it’s not connected to a mobile network, you can access the charger’s Installation Menu to configure WiFi.

How do I access the Installation Menu of the charger?

  1. Once you’re in the Installation Menu, go to Settings at the bottom of the page.
  2. Navigate to Connect to local WiFi-network.
  3. Find your WiFi network in the list and enter the password.
  4. Press Login.
