How do I use the cable lock?

The locking options are for when the charging cable is disconnected from the car. The charging cable will always be locked when it’s connected to the car. Locking the cable is an extra safety measure against anyone stealing the charging cable when it is connected to the charger. There are two cable lock options:

  • Unlocked/Locked— Unlocked while disconnected from the car. Locked while connected to the car.
  • Always locked— Cable is always locked to the charging robot.

Switching the Cable locking states is done in the Easee app or Easee Portal.
