"Unique Headquarters: Operating from a Building with History"
"Our Headquarters: A Historic Landmark with a Rich Legacy"
Interescaut, formerly the Electrabel power station, sits at the confluence of the Scheldt and Rupel rivers.
Originally inaugurated in 1930 as Europe's largest coal-fired power station, it operated for seventy years until its electricity production ceased in 2000. Electrabel halted all activities at the site in 2016.
Spanning over 70 hectares along the Scheldt's banks, the site features impressive structures like the old Turbine Hall and adjacent office buildings.
