There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. There are multiple options for whether you can continue to use or retain the Stroohm charging point.
The things you should first discuss with your former employer are as follows:
- Are you the full owner of the charging point?
- If not, do you have the opportunity to purchase the charging point?
- Who will cover the costs of dismantling the charging point (if applicable)?
Once you have the above information, you can contact the provider (CPO) of your new employer, who should take the initiative to get in touch. If it’s Stroohm, we can simply transfer the device to your new employer.
If you become self-employed, you can register the charging point on the Stroohm platform for your own business.
When you no longer have a new employer (due to retirement or other reasons) and cannot enjoy reimbursement of charging costs, we can set your charging point as “stand-alone,” with no platform or subscription costs attached. In the form of “plug and charge,” you can simply plug the cable into the vehicle without badges.
